Very little exploration of the Americas has taken place to date. Early attempts at colonization were rebuffed by Native Americans seeing Europeans as encroaching on their lands.
Inhabited by numerous tribes of Native Americans who are very protective of their lands. Only three permanent colonies have been established in New York, Wilmington and San Juan (in the Carribean). Colonists in these cities face day to day dangers not only from Native Americans, but also from previously unencountered creatures that roam the land. Recently, talks between Europeans and Native Americans have begun in hopes a peace and/or diplomatic relations can be established.
Still very much a mysterious place to Europeans. With the recent establishment of a permanent colony in San Juan, expeditions into South America are only just beginning. So far exploring is slow due to the jungle itself and the hostile creatures and tribes found within. Initial explorers report a wealth of resources hidden within the land here and further encroachment is being planned.
