Gaul encompasses Germany, part of Switzerland and Austria. Following the Dark Ages, vast amounts of the new subhumans migrated into Gaul and established towns of their own amid the chaos. The Gaul monarchy at first fought them tooth and nail, primarily out of fear and ignorance, but once it became apparent that they would not leave and were valuable fighters, the monarchy began accepting them as citizens. Gaul, like the Norselands is a more rural country with much of it’s population spread throughout the countryside in small villages and shires. While magic is highly regulated, science is incredibly pursued here and the long arm of the law often times has a hard time reaching deep into the country side.
Gaul is ruled by a republic, each member of the republic is voted in by the population of each ward of Munich, and each major city of Gaul. It’s capital is Munich.
Religious preferences – Gaul is unusual in that there really is no primary religion. Each area of Gaul generally has a few religions that are commonly practiced, but on the whole of the country there isn’t one that is more widespread than another.
