The Great Change
The Great Change refers to the mutation of the flora and fauna of Earth due to exposure to the Manastorm. Approximately four months following the conclusion of the Manastorm almost all species of plants and animals on Earth experienced mutations, creating a multitude of new subspecies of myth and legend. A lot research has been done trying to figure out how exactly this change occured and why it doesn’t happen anymore but most of it is inconclusive. It is thought that prolonged exposure to the Manastorm is responsible for the selective mutating, those who were ‘protected’ somehow during the Manastorm apparently were not affected or only slightly affected.
